- sleep earlier at night
- drink more water!! 1 or 2 glasses a day just isn't cutting it. Not only does drinking more water help your complexion, your hair, your overall skin health, but I seriously believe it does improve my mood, my patience, my overall ability to "deal"
- breathe! Now, really, I do this about as much as I am "required" to do in order to maintain, but I need to remember to take a breath before I react. Logan starts jumping on the couch in an effort to put his head through the window, and instead of my initial gut-reaction to yell at him... take a breath first and speak calmly. I don't know about anyone else, but my kids react better to calm than to screams anyway, I just need to find a way to get there!

Night Life/Back to Basics
Why oh why do I stay up too late? When I know very well that I will be groggy and slow to start the next morning. I think it is because the late night hours are MY hours. They are quiet, with no kiddos needing attention (once they FINALLY drift of to sleep, that is). I can actually accomplish a few tasks, and it is really hard to walk away from that for something so unproductive as sleep. I know full well, though, that sleep would be the smarter choice. There are a few things, actually, that I really need to do more of, but I often ignore those needs:
